Getting ready to be a new Mom I am getting readyt o be a Yorkie Mom on the 11th. I have a few questions-how much should a Yorkie weigh at 16 weeks? I am adopting him from a lady & she seems to have taken great care of him! Any other advise you guys can give will be helpful also! thanks |
Take a look at the growth chart posted above - download it in Microsoft form for proper viewing. It says at 16 weeks a pup should be from 20 oz. to 59 oz. (16 oz. in a pound) depending on how big they will be at maturity (2 lbs to 6 lbs). I am also getting another one around March 16th and I am so excited! |
Congratulations, be sure to post pictures. I hope to get my little boy around that time also. He is supposed to be small. 3 1/2 at adult weight. He'll be about 11 weeks when I get him. |
Congratulations! You must be soooo excited! Can't wait to see pictures. :) |
Congratulations on the new puppy!! :D |
Thanks-I will post his picture very soon-now its the name game I have to do. She is calling him Brownie-I feel he needs a big name because he is a small dog. My son said Camden, My Uncle said name him-Thor,Goliath or Conan-that was just yesterday. Today, I am sure to have a few more names! |
