Dog Fighting Bait Today a friend of mine called and told me a disgusting story and I am posting it as a warning. This friend was in Manhatten recently dining outside with her two small dogs on leashes at her feet. She was approached by a man that told her several dogs in the Upper Eastside neighborhood had been stolen recently..apparently by a ring of thieves that then sell the small dogs to be used as bait in dog fights. Metropolitan NYC has a well documented dog fighting syndicate and this is yet another disgusting detail.SUpposedly these thieves have been taking the dogs in broad daylight from outdoor restaurants and outside of stores. Please be careful when travelling with your furbaby. |

There's no end to the sickness in this world...how truly disgusting that is....those poor poor terrified little dogs...hearing things like that make me want to go Postal on someone :( :( :( I'd love to see those men locked in a room with nothing but BIG attack dogs and see how they like it |

It is so sad but it makes you want to hide your baby so nothing bad can happen to them! If someone comes to my door I don't even let them see I have Cali. Maya barks so much that nobody would take her anyway! |
I am still soooo disturbed by this....I really don't know what I would do..I think I might go crazy and go on a rampage or as Villette said "go postal" I can't imagine how scared those little dogs must be...how could anyone do this to another living thing :( ...There is such evil and unresolved anger in this world. |

Mickey had the broken breast plate. There was numerous dead dogs. Puppies and small dogs have lost their eyes. This horror house's yard was right next to a elementary school to top it off. The guy was in court today and pleaded not guilty. He is surely going to hell." |
I'm sick to my stomach. I also watched the HBO documentary "Dealing Dogs" last night. It was horrible but I'm glad i watched and became educated on the abuse of dogs. My donations every year will now go to stopping this abuse. |
