How Big Hiya :wavey: This sounds like a really silly question but just been wondering. what sort of age does furbabies stop growing. Maisy is 6mths now and the mom and dad were quite tall and maisy was the smallest of the litter ( dont know weather that makes any difference) but she is still quite small? its not an important question just wondered!!!!!!! jetess  |
Different lines stop growing at different ages, some stop as early as six months, some continue to grow and fill out til as late as 2 years old (though much less quickly after a year).. check with your breeder on when her parents stopped growing, and it should give you a good indicator, also..and this doesn't always work, but double her weight at 12 weeks, and that will give you a clue also of her adult weight. I've actually never had it work for me EXACTLY..but it's been fairly close. |
It can vary, most stop after 8 to 12 months. Here's another thread on that: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...t=stop+growing |
