birds Are yorkies known to chase after birds? Ella chases them and she was carrying a dead one around in her mouth this morning....i'm thinking, how am i supposed to give you kisses if your walking around with that nasty thing in your mouth!!!! so gross! :kiss2: :questione |
lil bear hates birds, we actually have to move if we are sitting somewhere and birds come, she barks and growls. She hasn't ever cought one though thankgoodness. I don't know if it's the way they move or what. Now if we are talking domestic birds, parakeets, parrots ect. she is facinated with them just does not like wild birds |
Chachi has tried to get birds before. |
Mojo loves to chase birds....if we are in the house, he will go to the windows or doors to look at them and bark to scare them away. Outside, he runs them off or lays in wait for them to fluttering back down. He has never caught one though. |
oh, the little girl definitely didn't kill, she found it already dead. |
Trace watches the birds when he's inside, but isn't too concerned with them outside. He did find a dead one once....we fought over that....me taking it and him keeping it....ewwww. His official job is to chase the Canadian (we poop larger piles than dogs) Geese out of the yard. Not only are they poop machines, but it's also never occurred to them that they are 20 times bigger than the dog chasing them. I've spent 13 years trying to get rid of those things....all I needed was 4lbs. of goose patrol. Trace's also just realized that egrets and herrings stand at the edge of the water....now they don't have to be on OUR side....he barks at them across the way too. From the looks of it....he thinks their slow plodding along means he's getting them to leave. I don't even think they realize he's barking at them  |
