Monkey (Simon and Hallie) Update! Well, I left Simon and Hallie today with my friend Tracy to come to Salem, MA for training. I just called from our hotel and Tracy told me what a "lovebug" Simon is and how the only problem so far is which monkey gets to sit in her lap! She said they were having so much fun playing with her boys and ate dinner just fine! Little Rascals are being little angels for her :) I am so happy and relieved but I miss them so much! It's going to be a long couple of days! |
You are so lucky to have someone responsible to watch them for you!! We should all be so lucky. Especially since they seem to be right at home. Don't be alarmed when you return they seem to have not even missed you, that's their way of getting back at you for leaving... |
Awww, I bet that is hard to be away from them. So glad you found someone to watch them and that they are doing ok there. |
Well, sounds like they are being well taken care of!!!! So, how many times have you called Tracey though??? LOL!!!!! Glad to hear you got there safe and sound! |

Yes- good to know you made your trip ok. I haven't had to leave mine but once so far. I hope the days fly by for you. Enjoy your time where you are. And I am sure your monkeys will be fine. |
Now that will make your trip so much easier on your mind....just think of how happy they'll be to see you and that's so nice of your friend to babysit for you. |

Oh Kimberly, I am so glad to hear that the monkeys are happy and playing. This has got to be such a HUGE relief to you and give you such peace of mind. We're counting the days along with you to come home!! :p |

So what are you bringing them home? Can't go without bringing something home for them. :icon5: :icon5: When my officemate and I go on business trips we always map out a way to a dog store either petsmart, petco, or a speciality store. She gets something for her 2 boxers (roxy and grady) and I get something for moose and lil bear. The trip moose went on with me a couple of weeks ago we walked to petsmart and got lil bear a hat and the 2 boxers got a football and a fresbie. Moose ofcourse had to get a cookie too :) |
They don't miss you, but I bet you can't say the same about them! I was in MN for 3 days last month and Tucker was home with the family. I was so puppy-sick! I couldn't wait to get home. Now I have to go to Las Vegas for 4 days the begining of March (I'll have Megan with me so Tucker will be at the mercy of the men in our house!) and then I have to go to Maryland for a whole week the end of March. I wish I could sneak him in with me. But, I'm in meetings all day and he would bark the whole time! So, I hope your time goes quickly and don't forget to bring home presents! |
