another question about china...... hey if a yorkie has had puppies c - section would there be a scare and if so where would it be. and just so everyone knows i am not the one who bread her i wouldnt do that seems how i dont know anything about it. |
scar From the outer skin it is just about impossible to tell a female has has a section. The incision is made in the line down the belly..it heals to the point it is not visiable. Dogs to not get those red, puffy scars like humans...BUT some vets use metal clamps inside to close the uterus and you can feel them..but only some vets. Many vets use surgical glue inside and out and you can not tell at all. |

I'm not sure what your question is... If a mother Yorkie can't have her puppies normally and needs to have a C-section, then this is the correct and appropriate thing to do. C-sections should be done when they need to be done. As far as this being scary - any surgeries our little Yorkies need to have done are always a little worrisome, but they usually turn out okay. -- If you are concerned about getting a puppy that was delivered C-section, this shouldn't be a problem or a cause for concern. If you get one of these guys at 10 to 12 weeks of age (as you should), it's health will be fairly well determined by then....as it would be for puppies born normally. Carol Jean |
