Just wanted to let everyone know that hsn.com has "Doggie Steps" for only $29.95 they have a machine washable cover and have 4 steps.(Maximum weight is 70 pounds.)

That's the cheapest I've ever seen them!!! They also fold down for storage! It's worth checking them out!!!

I believe they are the same ones that wal mart sells buy there as seen on TV stuff they are 28.94 I bought myself and heather_lathrop some and they come with the option of ordering the 5th stepp for 14.98. My Sugar and the rest of the crew love them it's so much easier to get on the bed weel worth the money

I got mine at Target a few weeks back. I think they were 29.99 or something close to it.

Hello there from Newfoundland Canada, I have been looking for something for Gracie to get up and down from things, right now we are using pillows(not cool) My Boyfreind is down in the Gulf working and made a trip to wal mart and saw them and told me we had to get them for gracie he cant because he only travels with a carry on and can't get them home. I was sooo upset and they aren't here at any of our wal marts and well we dont have target. I hope walmart here gets them. they would be great.I would get like 3 sets. and one for my moms place for when Gracie is there while I am at work. she as well is using her pillows. heheheheh

my mom just bought the steps for her 2 yorkies. they refuse to use them.

the ones of you who have bought the foam steps......have they ever tipped the steps over and also does the foam sink when they step on them.. such as a 10 lb yorkie?

mine have no problem using the steps. In fact they prefer the steps to jumping. I read somewhere you can get the used to using them by placing a treat on the lower step then one on the next and so forth until they learn to use them.

I have the foam steps - they don't sink down and they don't tip - they are very stable - of course, I have them next to the couch or the bed - yet, I don't think they would tip, even if they were not.

I like the foam best because they don't hurt when I kick them accidentially :D

I ordered some online two days ago, and they're already here. It's a kit made of plastic, but I'm pleasantly surprised. Real lightweight but holds up to 70 pounds. Both Eddie and Jack used them right away. The four steps line up perfectly with the seat of the couch. They have to jump a little bit to reach the bed, but both did it with no problems.

Here are some pics.

Just joking! and thanks for posting the pictures. I have the foam ones, which I really like but this is a good price and would be great for traveling with. :thumbup:

I have these (3-step) and the foam ones too (I have 3 sets) and I really like them all. Rowdy uses them - expect when he jumps off the back of the couch to run outside and bark at the black lab next door :rolleyes:

Yeah, I'm a photo nerd. I was surprised they were plastic and a kit, so figured I'd photograph the instructions and let people know what they're getting. Easy to put together. I hadn't thought about travelling with them. They'd be perfect, because the pieces just snap together.

Now I need one or two more for different rooms.

I ordered the 4 step ones also. There was like $1.80 difference in the price after shipping and they were a little higher. Well now alaskayorkie, how do you rate? mine said it would not be here until March 2nd! Did you threaten or what? LOL. Just joking. Glad you like them. If I am as pleased I think I will order another one for our "Dog House".

Clair! You're the one who talked the rest of us into ordering and you still haven't ordered? I think you work for the company.

I'm still amazed at the delivery time. I ordered on the 18th, it was shipped the 20th and I got it the 21st. UPS confirmation note said 6-8 days.

ok good news ...I got mine too. i ordered the 4 step and then ran into some at target (i called, asked, they said they didn't carry them) I was there for something else and saw they had them. so i got them too. today i received the 4 step. and they are exactly the same except for the added step.
I like these things. very easy to put together. very light weight. and all 4 of my yorkies use them with no problem. I didn't have to teach any of them.
Perfect purchase! both of them.
