So many Yorkies die young..... I think it is worrisome that so many Yorkies die at such young ages. And - often at ages older than a month or two -- at which point you feel they are up and running healthy. And also they die from such a variety of different health problems. I don't think any other breeds have so many unfortunate young deaths from so many different problems.....do they? Our long living healthy pets don't live long enough as far as most of us are concerned...but to lose so many so young is especially heartbreaking. My heart goes out to all of you who have lost your little friends. Carol Jean |
I agree, its just not fair I wish that they could live forever! I cant imagine my life without my little girls. |
I think all breeds have problems. Yes some yorkies die at young ages but it may be the same cenario with other toy breeds. Bigger breeds don't have problems early on but midlife the start having hip problems, eye problems, etc. So I think they each develop something. This happens also most likely when they are not well bred by knowledgeable people. |
