Hi my name is Mary and I'm a Yorkietalkaholic. But first I'm a Bugabooaholic. I can't get enough. I have fun, beat my brain, and use it as a relaxer. I can't seem to get enough pictures or video clips posted. I may be starting a support group soon. :lol tears Does anyone else have a Confession? Your secret is safe with me! :zip:

Here are a few symptoms:
The first innocent view.
Okay, It won't hurt if I make a few replies.
I can post a thread and still be functional.
It won't hurt to get an animated avatar.
When know one's looking post some pics/video clips.
Chase your Yorkie aroung with a camera.
Friends, Family, and Co-workers plan Intervention.
Any many many more... :warning:

I am a yorkieaholic too! I am a Yorkietalk aholic also.

I feel silly and stupid how often I refer to my 'yorkie forum friends'. I talk about you like you are real people, and repeat your stories to family and friends. I always feel like they are making that little twirling motion like 'coo-coo'. I am always trying to think of a word to talk like you all are not on a computer. I do have to drag away, but then my e-mail becons me saying 'someone has responded to one of your threads'. I will just take a second to see. Ok, have to sign in and see what is going on, cause now it wont send another update. It is a sickness! But my babies are a large part of my life, and you guys are such fun!

Sign me in...in the last 2 months, I have posted over 300 times. I think I should see a specialist! :)

I don't even have my baby yet and I am on at least once a day :p

I have to say though it is making the wait easier because I feel like I am learning so much and sharing in other's experiences. I love seeing all the thread of puppies coming home...because I know in 15 days that is going to be me after a 6 week wait!!!!

My husband says I am sick and getting worst :rolleyes:

At least I got him to agree that our little girl needed a sweater. He iss against any clothes on animals...oh and I snuck in a bath robe! At least I could argue that she needed to stay warm and he is such a softy he agreed.

He also thinks I am nuts because I decided to feed her Innova and Wellness. He doesn't care about the price...but he is a little baffled that I have to travel 20 minutes to get one and in the opposite direction from my house another 20 minutes to get the other. But, just like my 'real' kids she deserves the very best.

I think admitting I am a yorkieaholic is putting it MILDLY :D

Same goes for me! I know I am addicted to my Yorkie and to YT!! There is no question. In fact, I had to discipline myself on this topic. I have made myself get off the computer by setting a timer near by. I have also made myself repeat, there are more important things to do today than to sit glued to the computer!!! Hey, it has been working! Now, if I can find away to put my computer securely on my treadmill....... :D

I was at a homeschool party on Valentine's Day and a few ladies were hassling me because I never come to their Monday walks/support group. It is a group of us in the same area that walk at a local park while the kids play and we talk about homeschooling issues or whatever. I never make it because, okay, I hate the thought of driving over 30 minutes into town to "walk" and too, I already have a group that I spend my time on...YT!!! When I told them, that about fell over! Okay, so I did end up promising them that I would keep Mondays open for them! :p

One good thing.......my husband either never bugs me about being on "that dog site" or I have completely blocked those words out!!! Plus, I normally try to be on it when he is in the house....or I have several other screens up too, so I can click those up when he comes in......okay, that is a true sign of an addiction (hiding it from those you love)..hee,hee!!! :cool:

I defintely need to join the group!!! I am on here any free minute I get....I check in at least four or five times a day. I love to look at every thread and try to make comments on most that I can...I think you could call it obsessive!!! But I love it and I love everyone on here!!

I am NOT a yorkietalk addict,just because I have it up all of the time,when I am paid to actually do a job,and just because I post about everyday,and just because I don't take my lunch hour so I can be uninterupted,and just because I eat breath and rest with the dogs,does NOT make me a yt-holic,I hide the website from anyone that looks,and I only snack at the keyboard so I don't miss anything,but be it known I AM NOT ADDICTED,others just think so :aimeeyork

A true symptom of addiction is denial ;)

I have never been so addicted to a forum before. I usually get bored with whatever I'm into on the internet within days. I guess it's because I'm so obsessed with my Yorkies, and finding others who share my obsession makes me feel validated...LOL
