Very sick Yorkie / Maltese Cross Our new puppy, Dollie, is very sick and in the Vet hospital. We've had her for a little over a week and she all but refuses to eat. She's nine weeks old and was so weak yesterday we took her in. The Vet decided she needed glucose intraveinously administered, so Dollie's there. We've force fed her using a large suringe and a lot of TLC, but we're at a loss when she comes back home. Any suggestions? We're at a loss and worried about our new puppy. |
Oh I'm sorry to hear that, I hope they find out what is wrong, Prayers to you and Dollie. Welcome to YT. |
Little Dollie passed. My wife just called with the news that Little Dollie passed away. Thanks for your kind words... |
That's horrible. Poor dollie. I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to lose a puppy of that age. Were there any other signs of health problems? |
I am so sorry about Dollie.... |
I am sorry to hear about your little one!! You will be in my prayers....do they know what happened??? |
O man that breaks my heart. I'm so sorry to hear about Dollie. |
see if she will eat baby food.....most will. sprinkle sugar on top. also get some nutri cal and let her lick that off your fingers about a tip full three times a day that way if she isnt eating she is still getting sugar and she wont be sick! |
I am so sorry about Dollie. |
