New digital scales My Daughter just bought me some digital scales to weigh the dogs. Their last vet visit they said they both weighed the same exactly the same. 5 lb 6 oz and I always thought it was the wrong weight , you can lift them both and can tell that Minnie weighs more then Mickey. I took Mickey and Minnies over my daughters house after that and weighed them both on her dog scales and they weighed in around 4 lbs .....So I was so glad to get my own and I knew that Mickey and Minnie have both put on some weight this last month.......My scales say Mickey weights 4 lbs and Minnie weighs 4.11. Well we let Mickey and Minnie breed so we thought Minnie was pregnant they tied a few times but being Minnie would be 37 days pregnant now I don't think it took.shes gained but only because I had put them both back on puppy food cause Mickey had lost some weight not eating good because Of Minnie being in heat and he was to worried about that and Minnie well she just didn't seem to want the dry food any more.and I have heard putting them on puppy food while they was preg was good for them .... but they do this every so often and I end up changing their food. Now that they have both been eating good and put back on their weight Ill slowly take them back off the puppy food. |
Digital scales must be calibrated from time to time to keep them accurate. Maybe your vet needs his scale checked. :animal36 |
