I live with my cousin, and he always busts my chops. He comes in my room and says, "Oh, my God! You're on Yorkie Talk. You're NEVER on Yorkie Talk."

It doesn't matter if they don't "get it", it brings YOU joy.

Count me smitten too lol Actually Gucci is my grandbaby, my daughter is away at college and I am raising her. I have grown attached to this furbaby. SHE IS MINE NOW...lol I guess I am at that point where my kids are in college and I need someone to mother...lol My husband says Gina she is a dog not a baby...lol but he adores her too....

I used to talk to family about our dogs too and they just cant relatee to that kind of devotion. I just talk about them to dog people now.

I also keep a low profile. Yep, others have made fun of me for talking about my furbabies, dressing them, and pampering them like crazy........They just don't understand about Yorkies and Yorkie people. That's one reason Yorkie Talk is sooooo fabulous!!!!!! You can just let it all out here......... :D I love my Dudley and Dinkey and spoil them rotten. It's Wonderful!!

Wait, they THINK we're nuts? I thought we were nuts! Nuts about our babies!

I stay at home, so Mojo is a huge part of my every day life! He is with me all day and I get along with more pets than people these days! HA!

I worked at my daughters school for a few years (now we homeschool), but when I come, they always ask about Mojo and why he isn't with us (which is only a few times). Luckily, they love their pets too and understand where I am coming from.

I know there are people out there that have "pets"....they are just pets nothing more, but I don't think they have ever had a Yorkie!!! If they have, then they would know why we are the way we are!

I find myself, anymore, looking for and enjoying the company of either other Yorkie owners or those that love the companionship of dogs. (any kind). I am not a very outspoken person, but if they think I am weird or crazy for the way I treat my little guy....so be it....we are all different and I am just glad that this "fault" or craziness of mine is more than likely 100% better than what "fault" or craziness they have! :D

I too have always been around big dogs (labs) and now a German Shepard. I have heard numerous times how my little guy is not a real dog or how a persons cat is bigger then him or how I should have just gotten a cat. What are people thinking? I don't mind though....I just either ignore it or give them that look of disgust or have some whitty comment.

What can we do? We all have our own opinions and likes and dislikes! I wouldn't change it for anything though!
