wow, I guess the greenies are out now in my book. I have a dozen large ones too. I cant take the chance. :( :( :thumbdown :thumbdown

Wow, I read that article. I just bought a bag of the toothbrush shaped ones last week for the first time. It had eight and I have five dogs. There are three left and I was going to pick up another bag so there wouldn't be any fights between the last three. I think I might just throw them away. That is really scary.

The live show was even better because the owner of this company said its worth the odds of having to put your dog under to clean their teeth or to give them greenies instead. yea, like thats worth the risk, giving your dog an object that gets lodged in their intestines in a big clump. I cant believe ive been giving them to my doberman for 12 years. Granted, hes way past his average life span, but I was lucky. Ive only given one to Nina when she got home and it took her two weeks to even start eating it. Its nice to know I was paying top dollar for these completely digestable bones, while playing russian roullette with my dogs. :mad: :mad: :mad:

Sugar Bear got some from her Valentine and I let her chew it and as soon as I saw her teeth bleeding I took it away and then we watched the CNN thing and Hubby was like UM HE** No will they have them anymore......

OMG, I didn't know how bad these things were. Brownie's been chewing them for the past couple of years, I think I've got to stop feeding them to her, but she loves them???

I stopped giving them to my dogs a few months ago, but always felt bad because they really loved them. NOT ANYMORE!! I don't feel bad now! :thumbdown

Oh, & I wonder how much the owner of greenies paid that vet to sit there w/ him & say they were ok? :rolleyes:
