Greenies They will be discussing Greenies on the Paula Zahn show tonight on CNN at 8 p.m. Eastern time if anyone is interested. This is what they show on their web site about the show: One of the country's top selling dog treats is supposed to combat bad breath. But it could be dangerous for your pet. Tune in at 8 p.m. ET. I believe that people from the company will be there as well. |
I Know that should be interesting. I am going out to dinner tonight. Hopefully I will be home in time to see it. I would really like to see what the company has to say about the dog deaths by greenies. |
I have it Tivo'd so I won't miss it! |
Did anyone watch this? What was said? |
I am curious to see what was said too, i still give my girls greenies about once a month but they chew and chew on them for days so they arent getting big chunks of it at a time. |
http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/02/14/dan...reat/?eref=aol I did watch that and it was sad to see here is the article... Kristi |
As many as are being sold, I am sure incidents happen with many treats. I dont even like to give mine chewy treats as they are hoggish and try to steal treats from each other. I asked my hubby tonight for us not to get greenies anymore, they say they are more likely to choke on them than bones - which we don't give them either. I actually like pup-corn. They claim to be low fat, low calorie, low sodium, healthy dog treats. They are only about 2.37 at walmart and come in a big bucket. Easy to chew and you can throw them at them to catch! |

I tossed the Greenies, had to watch mine like a hawk anyway to be sure they did not get them down too small. I like peeled apple, Cheerios and cheese for treats anyway. |
