A List Of Toxic Plants And Foods Here is a list of toxic plants and foods put together by The American Animal Hospital Association. This list was given to me by my vet the first time I brought Gracie in. The following items can cause a wide range of complications from an upset stomach, to liver and kidney disease, to death. These items can affect diffrent species in diffrent ways, but all can potentially affect all animals, dogs, cats, birds, horses, even cattle. Please be advised, this is only a small list, there are thousands of other chemical compounds found in the home that can be fatal to animals (example: antifreeze, rat poison...). This is good as I have seen it on a breeders site before. I think everyone should be informed about this.. |

Thanks for the great list. Philadrandrom is one of the worst. Our yorkie got a hold of ours a couple years ago and ate the entire plant. She is now on steriods for the rest of her days. She blew up like a balloon at first. Now we keep this way out of her reach, because she will eat anything. |

Wanted to keep this on page one for a bit, I typed in EVERY SINGLE food/plant myself, I wish more people were intrested... :( |

I'm sure I am driving everyone crazy, but it is too important to just let it go away! |

I am new to YT and found this list VERY helpful. There were things on there I had no idea were toxic. I have given Luci frozen french fries before  , but according to your list, she shouldn't be having potatoes. Guess she won't get any more of those. Thank you for posting this. I agree, it should definitely be a sticky for a quick reference. Thanks again for sharing! |
