do your dogs clean up after themselves? I have two crates in the house for Matthias. One in my room for over night sleeping and one downstairs in the living room for during meal times or when I have to leave the house for an hour. In both crates, he has his beds and blankies.... and his toys. The first time I set up the crates, I put all his toys in the crate so that he would see it's not a bad space. Now, he goes in there, takes his toys out and plays, and when he's done, he carries them all back!! It's so cute. he'll trot over to his crate with his toy in his mouth and drop it in on the bed then trot out, looking so proud of himself! naturally, he gets treats for this!!! I was just curious if any of your dogs did this too. :) |
Wow wished mine would put their toys back. SOunds like you have a very good puppy there. |
I Wish! CAN YOU TEACH BUGABOO? He leaves his toys everywhere! |
That's pretty neat!! I don't think raisin can stand to have all her toys in one place. I'll put them all away and a few minutes later they are all spread out again. So I think she's trained me to just let her have her toys whereever she puts them :D |
Could you train Winston to do that too? He loves spreading his toys around. I put them in his toy baskets, he's right behind me taking them out. |
Well you have the dog trained very well. Hows the training with the other half if there is one...???? lol. You are the envy of the forum! :lol tears |

Wow that's great. Can you train my two to clean up their toys and while your at it think you can teach my 3 kids and husband too!!!. Boy would that make my life a lot easier. |
When can I schedule an appointment with you to come train mine? We try to keep a reasonably neat home, but with Zoe it's difficult, she has toys, bits of paper she's found, shoes my daughters left out, socks shes found scattered everywhere. My daughters even came home one day and she was wearing one of my bra's  . She manages to get things through the mesh on the laundry baskets, so you have to be very careful. |
My oldest Emmie never did, but our Izzy B. (14 months) loves to carry all her toys to her bed and pile them up, often times not leaving room for herself. Glad to know this is not unusual behavior for her!!! We have to check it out from time to time as she will pick up screws and assorted items she has "dug up" from some vast recesses of our home - we call her our little "pack rat". :dog: |
