personal clipper for face? i have the clippers like I have seen on here to trim my babies but they are too large so today I bought one of those "personal" trimmers. It is very, very small and just right for face and ears. BUT, it doesn't trim. Nothing either way I hold it. is there a trick to using it. Should I take the little comb thingy off or what/ I tried it on my leg and finally got a little spot to trim but on the yorkies, no way will it work. One of Dixie's ears has flopped and i wanted to shave it and tape it. I never could trim Ceeby's either. His ears were standing when I got him but i have kept the hair trimmed off. I use scissors on him but it doesn't look right with scissors. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thanks |
The small 1/2" Wahl trimmers work best for me. No plastic thing. I tried the smaller ones, but they did nothing. I use the large electric ones if I am shaving off chests or something. The battery 1/2" blade is very small and about 4" long. It will shave their ears, by the eyes, around their butt easily. |
Be careful with the personal trimmers, I hate them. Used on myself and it pulled like crazy. My husband uses them to trim around the yorkie tushes but it worries me, that would hurt! |
thanks. Where can I find these? I bought a men's razor made by Wahl once at Big Lots but that name is not one of the more common ones in this area. |
I got mine at Sally's beauty supply. It was about $18, but well worth it to me. |
okay. Thanks. I have a Sally's about six miles away. |
They sell them at Walmart also for 7-8 dollars, I use them on his rear end too, but they do dull quickly, on him. |
