My puppy is GROSS! Whenever Lilah uses the peepad, she feels the need to wipe her nose in it! She will continue doing it until I stop her. I love to give kisses but NOT to a Yorkie with pee on her nose! WHY does she do it? It doesn't really seem like a covering-up behavior to me. :confused: |
Is she just smelling it? maybe follow her to the pad and as soon as she is done start celebrating and give her a treat before she has a chance to do that. sorry I don't have any other ideas or know why she is doing that. |
Nope, she's not smelling it! She is rubbing her nose in it. I wish I could explain it better! |

This is also gross but one of mine goes to the pee pads and rubs all over it, she just lays down and goes nuts rubbing all over it. I thought how sick and started telling her no. So now when she heads that way I look to see if she is going potty or going to rub and now she just potties there. It took several times of me telling her no before she stopped. |
That's a new one on me. I liked Princessyorkie's suggestion. Hope it works. Peepee kisses??? :eek: |
I really dont have any advise mine never did this. They ate their poop though. I would just have handiwipes around to clean the face. |
Thanks guys :) Whenever she does it I call her name so she leaves it alone. I wonder why she does it though. Territorial? Or maybe she is just a weirdo. |
Hmmmm.... I don't know why she would be doing this. She is soo silly though! Maybe keep some baby wipes by the pee pad and wipe her nose with them if you can't get her to stop in time! Hey--at least she is using the peepee pads!!!! :eek: |

once in a while Miss Mini will grap he pee pad used or not and run like heck with it like a game ..she shakes her head and .."shows off" i try not to laugh , dont tell her that i do think its kinda funny tho .. |
My girls will roll around and lick on the potty pads after they have peed on it all day it is so gross! Chloe will go and sniff her poop for like 5 minutes everytime that she goes it is really wierd! |
