Calling all yorkies that live in Colorado or anywhere near!! I am organizing a playdate on March 18th in Lakewood Colorado. If you are interested please PM me and I can give you details!!!! Starsky and I are so excited to meet new friends!! Yorkie playdate in Colorado has been changed
 
okay this has been changed to sooner like February
Okay, it is set for February 19th at 1:00 to 2:00 pm. We'll just do an hour and see how everybody likes it and if we get a good turn out we can plan another one for later. It is going to be at Mantayo Kennels. The Address is 1220 S. Wadsworth Blvd in Lakewood. We will take a 5.00 donation toward renting the space which is 35.00 an hour. If we happen to make more, it will go to the yorkie rescue. So I'll plan on you being there. I have 4 other definite yorkies coming too. I still have to check with 3 other people that I know of and the girl who helps me rent this place may know of some too. Call me if you have a change in plans. You can bring your family too.

You can also bring treats for humans and yorkies. This can be a post Valentine's party!!

I am getting excited too!! Bring goodies if you can for both us and the dogs. I am only expecting like 4 to 5 people and like 5 to 6 yorkies. I am going to call a neighbor which I haven't met that I know has 2 yorkies and see if they are interested. I have gotten lots of interest in Colorado, so at this playdate we can plan our spring one and people can have more notice to come. If you still want to come to this one, the more the merrier!!!!

See you Sunday!! no matter what the weather is!!! (It is indoors!)

I am sooooo jealous!! But glad in a way that we couldn't come!! Will explain in "Off Topic"! If I don't have time tonight, I will explain tomorrow. But, in the spring, I can assure you we will make a playdate .... and hopefully, bring a "herd" of Yorkies from GJ!!! Have a great time and please, please make lots of pics for those of us who will be there in spirit only!! ;)

Let's take a moment to remember KAISMOM 's Kai
 
KAISMOM is one of the member here in Colorado and we were so looking forward to meet her, Kai and Vegas at the playdate tomorrow. However, Kai got sick on Tuesday and went to the rainbow bridge Wednesday. :cry:
There is no words ..................... the vet and her staff members wasn't even professional during the whole thing. Let's just take a moment here to remember Kai.

I was so shocked to hear about Kai. Kaismom Pm'd me and told me the bad news. I am sure she will deeply be missed. My prayers go out to her and her family. We hope you get to feeling better soon and come meet us next time and you can share with us all the happy times you had with Kai. We would also like to meet Vegas sometime too. Take care and just know she will always be with you in your heart and she is now your little angel!! :angel2dl: Please keep in touch with us!! :rose: Starsky and I send lots of hugs for support! :girl_hug: :hug:

It's cold out but who cares. It's all indoor and she wouldn't even need her sweather for the play date. ;) We'll see you guys there! :wavey:

I hope that you guys have a lot of fun!! I wanted to bring Frogknot, but he's just a little too small for that. In another week he will get his next set of shots then I'll feel better about enlarging his world!

I can't wait to hear how it went and see pictures!! Where are all the colorado people located? Anyone south of Denver?

We had a wonderful time at the Colorado playdate today!! Big thanks to Teddbear who planned the whole event. :thumbs up :good job: :bravo:

Everyone incluing all the furbabies had a great time and it was so nice to put the faces and the names on YT together. We got to meet non-members too and it was great. These are awesome people with sweet little Yorkies. :thumbup:

Teddybear will be planning another Colorado playdate. So, if you miss it today, come join us next time. I know we wouldn't want to miss it.:)
