As long as your baby is happy and healthy i wouldnt worry about size & colour as she is your pet and not a show dog. I used to have a little boy of barely 2lbs as a puppy he was in and out of the vet's office, i never knew he would stay small, but he was my worry for 15 years, he needed supervision 24/7 - when visitors walked through the door we had to pick him up incase he wasnt noticed and stepped on. He grew up to be a short yet sturdy little guy, but he was a lot more worry compared to our 6lbs and 7lbs girls. My friend now has a 12lbs and a 3lbs yorkie's the vet bills of the 3lbs girls are unlimited, there's always something wrong with her, she has an account at the vet because she can not pay for each visit, compared to her 12lbs yorkie that only sees the vet for her yearly shots. Dont get me wrong, not ALL tinies are sick, there are a lot of people on here that have very healthy/happy tinies. We now have a 5lbs and a 4lbs, both girls, but i can tell that Chanel of 4lbs gets cold VERY quickly, her apitite is next to zero, we have to coach her to eat, we had to search for the right food for her, because she cant take just any brand. She cant even have boiled chicken & rice like the others without her vomiting. |
