he IS a yorkie afterall! bunjee is starting to prove that he is a yorkie afterall. he's more alert when it comes to sounds outside the front door and does this low volume "woof" thing in response to the sounds. last night he jumped off my lap and barked at the front door when the pizza guy rang the doorbell. my baby was such a non-barker for a while. well, it was good while it lasted. oh i do have a question about barking though... does your baby bark loudly at other dogs? my baby is starting to do that when he meets dogs he's never met before. he's doing that to my friend's cats too. is there some way i can make him respond in a more friendly manner? |
My 4 month old is begining to bark at the cats outside in the yard. She also barks in her sleep too. LOL!! I'd love to know what she's dreaming about. :rollingey |
Both of MY yorkies are barkers and I havent found anything that changes that. I am going to get them citronella bark collars |
I thought it was cute when Nikko first started barking. Now I can't get him to stop. I live in an apartment building and as soon as he hears people out in the hall he runs to the door and starts barking. The wierd thing is that he is really friendly, even with strangers and he has never met a person or dog he didn't like. When he gets too barky and loud I put him in his crate for a 5 minute time-out. When I let him out, he usually is calm by then. |
