Introducing Harley's baby brother SKEETER!

I finally got to see our new baby. He is 3 weeks old and I can bring him home when he is 7 weeks old they say. He is such a sweetie. His name is Skeeter. We just bought Harley in September he is now 7 months old and still my baby so I don't know how he is going to act when Skeeter comes home. I know in time things will work out but I hope they will learn to like each other. For those of you that have two or more I would love any suggestions for me, I have never owned two dogs at one time. I would love to have a house full of Yorkies and might if this works out :D So anyway I wanted you all to see our new addition and I am also adding a picture of my 7 month old Harley, I never want him to feel unwanted or left out just because there is going to be another one. I am hoping that they will learn to love each other and play well together, what do you think? :confused:

Skeeter sure is cute. I think they will get along great. I do have one question. Why is he coming home at 7 weeks? That's kind of young to be leaving his Mom.

Well, she said they usually let they go between 7 and 8 weeks old. How old should they be? I am not really sure, Harley was 10 weeks old.

Two dogs make their own way
 
Just like with raising kids, if you make sure you devide your attention evenly and don't show favortism, both dogs will blossom. I just love having two, and I have no idea why I even thought I would be able to only have one!! Thank goodness Dreama came our way! Wosie loves her big sister, and we are thrilled to have two again! (Jasper and Angel were our dynamic duo for 11 years!) :D

You may want to consider pet insurance, something we are looking into. Two yorkies equals double the vet bills...

But with TWO Yorkies, you are also doubling your FUN!!

Congrats on your new baby.. The more you have the more fun it is..lol

My little guys name is Sketter to. Just spelled differently..

I think they will be so good together!!!! That Skeeter is so sweet and Harley, well, I am partial to that name for sure!!!

I brought Ceeby home at eight weeks and my new puppy at eight and a half weeks. I see you are in kentucky same as me. Most of the breeders here DO let them go IF they are healthy and eating well at eight weeks. But make sure you get a tube of Nutracal before you bring him home. BTW, he is a cutie pie.

So what if they call and say he is ready to go home at 7 weeks, should I not go get him? I mean it will be hard cause I want him so bad but what I want more is whats best for the puppy.
