Do you walk your dog after it rains? OK...this might sound like a silly question, but I thought I would ask since I am always worried about the well-being of my little Stomper boy! Do any of you walk your babies outside when the ground is wet after it rains? I live in CA and it never gets under 50 degrees but it has been raining a lot lately. Stomper loves to walk outside - he doesn't seem to mind when the ground is wet. He even let's me blow dry his feet when we get back in the house! Is it OK to walk a small yorkie when the ground is wet? I I'm just worried that he can get sick. He is already over 6 pounds at 15 weeks, so he is a big boy. Please advise. |
It should be okay as long as he doesn't stay wet. My dogs will not go outside if it rains unless I go out with them. however, they will go outside after it rains. I towel dry their feet and bellies when they get back. |
Yup! It's been raining here in No. Cali for the past week. I really need Bailey to be potty trained, so the routine has been regular. I even take him out WHEN it's raining. We're only outside for a few min's at a time and once we get back inside, I dry him off. |
