:confused: Hi everyone:)
My parents are looking for a yorkie(female) and we came across this website since we are not familiar with any breeders in our area (Orange county NY).
Not sure if you will be able to see the link but this person is selling thier pups for $400 and up with shipping included??? Does this sound right to you and how bad is it to ship a baby????
Any and all feedback would be appreciated!

SSSCCCAAAMMM!!! No one would sale a pet yorkie for only 400....espicially a show quality yorkie. If you are looking on puppyfind then only look at people in your state that are close to you so you can go and see the puppy you are about to purchase....Theres alot of scams on this website

Who would sell a puppy from champion lines , champion parents and show potential for $400.00 , It is a scam for sure .

That is a scam you have to be really careful when shopping on puppyfind.

SCAMMMMMMMMM. Don't do it,they will take the money and send nothing in return. If it sounds too good to be true..it is a scam.

These scammers are seriously stupid...... they have GORGEOUS pictures of puppies w/"champion" lines, and then they ask $400 including shipping. They should ask $2000 including shipping..... they would be more believable, and make more $!! I can't stand these people! YUCK!

SCAM! Definately look for something local. That guy will tell you to western union the money and then you will never see the puppy! You can't do anything about it because it's in another country. Petfinder should take those scammers off!

puppyfind.com is full of scammers. they reel you in with stolen pictures and a cheap price. they'll ask you to send a few hundred dollars as shipping fee or good faith money, after which you'll never hear from them again. don't fall for it!!!

just based on principle alone, i'll never get a puppy through puppyfind.com, even from the few reputable sellers they have. i think puppyfind is an unscrupulous company for not cracking down on the scammers themselves. i'd sooner use the newspaper and find something local.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! Thats what we were thinking too..and I remember reading diffrent posts on here about one of the sites and how they scam you...I just coulnt remember which one!

If there is anyone out there that knows of a good/reputable breeder in the NY/NJ/CT/PA area...please let me know!

Definitely a scam......I sent a request to the seller to see if I can visit. We'll see what kind of response I get from them.

Generally when you request to visit, they never reply. They just want you to send the money and then they disappear.

We actually sent an email requesting info on the parents and asked for ,ore pictures etc... ;lets see what happens!!!!

Be really careful with puppyfind.com! There are A LOT of scammers on there...Trust me, it happened to me. I wouldn't take it back if I could now because I cannot imagine my life without Miko. Just be very careful. Meet the breeder in person and see the parents...
