Schatzie is my shadow all day, and when she's not she is tormenting Annabelle. :D |
Gucci plays with her ball and her rope. Also she lays down by my husband or by me. When she is not sleeping on her bed she is on top of my 4 yr old daugther. Is funny cause she gets close to my daugther and when she is going to grab her Gucci runs away. :rolleyes: |
I hate to leave them But I have to work in order to care for the boys. I leave at 5:30 am and do not get home until 5 pm. They have the run of the house and from the looks of it when I get home, they get into plenty of stuff. When I leave in the morning I have to walk past my living room window, and they are both sitting on the sill watching me leave makes me so sad. |

My boyfriend works from 7pm to 4am, so when I come home around 6pm, my boyfriend passes the baton off to me and Archie and I hang out and play and go for a walk, eat, etc. He goes really nuts around 8-11, then lights off. Sometimes, he stays up playing with his ball or chewing on a toy, and eating some food. Usually, Archie gets into bed next to me and naps. When my boyfriend comes home at 4 am, Archie's up for a little while to say hello, then goes back to sleep. He wakes up again a little while later (7 am) for a walk, food, a quick playtime with his ball while I go to work (around 8 am) and until my boyfriend wakes up at 11 am. Between 8 am and 11 am, I'd say Archie splits the time playing with toys, chewing on stuff, and looking out the window at the other dogs. Then when my boyfriend wakes up, the fun starts for Archie...they go to the park, the dog run, whatever else they do. Then, back home until I come home at 6 and then Archie's off and running again and the whole process starts over. It's an insane cycle, but believe me, Archie gets tons to do all day because both of us separately spoil him. |
Gracie isn't alone much. She is my dog but she lives with my boyfriend. He leaves for work at 6:30am M-F and he puts her in his room with the baby gate up. I get to his house at 8:00am and usually spend the day with her. I only work thursday friday and sunday and when I work my boyfriend is there to take my place. She plays with her toys, naps, bugs me to go outside and play ball she is very active when I get there in the morning but around 1:00 she is usually ready for a nap and from 3:00 til about 8:00-8:30 she is up getting into things, barking at me on the computer and anything else she can come up with!! I hate leaving her :( I try to take her with me if I go somewhere close...like the bank, etc. How long do you think is too long for a dog to be in a room??? I feel guilty when I have to leave her for 4 hours.... |
