Sometimes I hate even walking into the place because everytime I go in I spend like 60 bucks. I have a fish aquarium too so I am usually buying fish food and stuff too. The most I think I have spent was like $110. |
OHHH boy, Dont tell my husband buttttttttttt......every time I go into petsmart I spend at LEAST $75.00.....I went to the pet supply store last week just to buy a new food and spent $130.00................ahhhhhhh......I go absolutely crazy in these stores! Went in to buy 1 bag of food and came out with 2 toys....3 shirts...a bathrobe....some treats and i forget what else but it was $130.00..... :p |
Well lets see...this week alone I've spent $500 (not kidding..I just added it up!) between Petsmart & online dog stores. I just got my new little girl & was getting everything for her plus a few things for Lucky so he wouldn't be so jealous! :D My husband thinks I'm crazy! :p |

I told my husband about your post and he said have you been adding up everthing youve been spending lately.LOL |
Man how do you guys do it? My husband would KILL me if I spent that much! I usually dont tell him what I spend on stuff for her....but its never THAT much! |
We never tell my dad about how much things cost....he would kill us!! We just tell them that we got a deal and show him all the cute new toys/treats/or clothes....I am not sure exactly how much but it is probably up there in the $200-$400 range!! |
Usaully around $80 each time I go. I had a lady in Petsmart yesterday ask me if Bear was a Boston Terrier, lol... ah... no! Then she spent five minutes bragging about her $2200 s**tz su (sp?) What a deal. |
Actually - most people don't have that much extra money to spend on their pets. And, to be honest, we aren't really spending our money on our pets - we're spending it on ourselves....especially the cute little outfits that we like to dress them up in. I doubt having 20 different expensive outfits (or more) really matters much to our little dogs. I spent quite a bit of money when I first got my Yorkie - on the things he needed, clothes, etc. But he has continued to outgrow his clothes and seems to be between sizes right now. He's almost six months old - so maybe the next batch of clothes I get him will fit him for a while. I hope so. And he has enough toys to totally clutter my entire house every day. And, don't we know - their favorite toys are the inside of toilet paper rolls and jar lids anyway! Anyway, those of you who don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on your little puppies - don't worry. The most important things are free - lots of love and kisses!!!!!! Keep loving those little guys! Carol Jean |

Considering that everytime I go I think I buy Timber a new bed. Just because he appreciates them so much. He'll sleep on it so much that it totally starts to ware away. I just bought him a red valentine's day bed with white hearts and it is already faded in the middle. SAD!! But I always get him the girly beds. He's cool with it. I just love my furbabies they are so worth it.....probably 60 dollars everytime I go!!!! |
Within the past two weeks I spent $563. I don't have my puppy yet. A lot of the items I've purchased are necessities. I went to a specialty store this week to purchase her food. I ended up spending $98. I found the cutest t-shirt, a crystal hair clip, and the most adorable crystal necklace. What can I say, I'm a shopaholic! |
i dont know and i dont want to know either.....between the thigs she needs to the things i wanted and all the fabric and buying clothes i am guessing way more than i honestly should have. Is it worth it though....heck yeah! |
