Self Absorbed Yorkie My 6 month old Yorkie is obsessed with looking at herself in the mirror. It is soooo funny/cute. She discovered "the mirror" about a month ago and would bark at herself and run away and then sneak up on the mirror and peak at herself from the side. Now she stands at the mirror and kisses herself  She is constantly looking at herself. I have full length mirrors so they are a perfect height for her. She's so funny! Anyone else's Yorkie like this? |

How cute! She thinks she is just beautiful and why wouldn't she? That would make a darling picture! :) |

That is so cute! Yes, you absolutely need a picture of that! I do what I call "pretty checks" with Hallie and I will hold her up in the mirror and she just stares at herself :) |

Haha i'll get a pic and post it. I'm going to give her some paper towel and a Windex bottle though because she leaves little puppy kisses ALL OVER the bottom of my mirrors. ;) It's funny because if she catches you watching her, she'll start wagging her tail and run right to you and give you kisses. She's such a character! |

My little Frog found himself in a mirror two nights ago. He really wanted to figure out a way to play with the puppy in the mirror! http://static.flickr.com/39/94781341_79c3b84576_b.jpg |

My Chelsey does the mirror checks all day long, people wont believe me till they see it for themselves! She acts completly normal till she's dressed with a bow in her hair, thats when she changes into a different creature, i know its nuts, but she cant even act "normal" to her yorkie friends when they visit us unless she's nekked and in a mess... (they are not allowed to touch her) This behaviour is now even starting to rub off on little Chanel, tho she can still be polite and friendly to her friends. Chelsey is a compleet snob except towards her little sister Chanel (they play pretty us together) |

Tatum will absolutely NOT look at the Yorkie in the mirror. You hold her up in front of it and try to get her to look and she just turns her head. I've tried so hard but she just won't. Our poodle would never look at himself in the mirror either. Wonder why some do that?? |

Awww a vein Yorkie, that is too cute!! |

Oh yes whenever I get ready for work. Tigger discovered it at ten weeks old, his first day home. He would bark at himself, run away run back agian. He's now eight months old and still does it. sometimes he'll be looking in the mirror but looking at me on the opposite side. scary because I'll look at him and not realize he's stalking me. he also throws/jumps on the mirror. He's gotten a few good hits in a couple of times. |

hahaha Layla absolutely HATES that dog in the mirror! She barks at her too much, and she won't let Layla touch her! She just tries to touch back! In my room I have a mirrored closet and across the room I have another full length mirror and whenever I'm doing my hair across the room, Layla sits on my bed staring into the closet mirror and she goes crazy trying to warn the mirror me about that dog behind my back! |

I have a coffee table in the living room with a mirror bottom. Mitzi stands on it and looks down at herself for ages at a time. She licks the mirror and brings her toys to it, as if she is trying to play with the "other puppy". :D |
