While sitting here on YT I have Animal Planet on. They just started talking about this bald Yorkie. Definitelt caught my attention!

I tried to capture a photo as quickly as possible. It's not a very clear picture, sorry.

The owners have a breeding pair of Yorkies and out of the litter they received a very special Yorkie indeed. :p

Wow, that is very strange. Do they know why he's that way?

I would think that it is something genetic.......I would not breed them two together again....Poor little doggie.... :eek:

I was so darn busy crashing over myself to retrieve my camera I didn't even hardly get to pay attention as to what happened. :D They did say he was happy and healthy otherwise and receives a special loving treatment of lotions and such.

I guess there will be no questions about if his/her coat will be silky or cottony! :D

Very true on that one.....Combing and brushing no problem.....
Would have loved to seen that so I could have actually seen what the little dog looks like.. :)

Huh how unusual. It doesnt look like it is one of the ones with the blue skin that have health problems.

That's good that he doesn't seem to have any health problems. Even a bald yorkie is a cute yorkie!!

I went to the Animal Planet Website. Were you watching Amazing Animal Videos Ultimate Oddities? If so, I believe it will be on again on Feb. 11 at 12:00 p.m. ET. That's next Saturday at noon ET. It also indicates that it is on right now, but I think that's an error.

Wow! Weird....

I have a have a neighbor who has a Yorkie and he keeps her completely shaved! Her entire head is shaved down! I'll have to take a picture and show you all. She looks like a completely different breed!

I can't be certain, but I do believe it was "Amazing Animal Video's". :aimeeyork

It really was strange! The little Yorkie pup was kinda wrinkly, but he was so sweet also. You couldn't help but still be admire the little guy, even if he was bald for whatever reason(s).

I think the show was Amazing Animals. Can't be sure. I just turned it on for the fur kids and really wasn't paying too much attention. Well, until I heard the words "bald Yorkie". ;)

Thanks I'll try and find it. :) Their site is really good, has lots of tips on different things.
