What grooming sheers do you use? I groomed muffin bear yesterday and gave him the puppy cut. Really helped with the dandruff but I used human clippers and it just didn't seem to do the trick. Yesterday I went to Petco to look at some clipper brands and there were several to choose from. Thought I would ask and see if anyone has a preferance or a disliking twards a particular brand. . . Thank you! :) |
I actually just bought a pair this week that I am going to finally keep. Tried a pair that were craftmaster or something like that and they were battery operated no cord. What happened though was the battery wears down and it pulls the hair. So took them back. Then after waiting for awhile I decided to try again and this time I brought home 3 pair. One was the personnel little clippers for clipping in between their eyes whigh I do. She will not let me near her with them but she will let me cut her there with the scizzers. The other pair was made by wahl and they were the ones that men would cut their beard with. Villette uses both of these but I did not think the pair I got worked too good. Although they were rechargabe which was good. The ones I am going to keep are made from Wahl are rechargeable and easy to work with. I got these ones from the pet section at Walmart. Wahl clippers are the best to get. |
I use the small wahl battery operated clippers. The blade is 1" across and the whole thing is 4". If you clean them and oil them, they shouldn't pull hair. I got mine at Sally's beauty supply for about $18 (less than the cost of one grooming). When I shave a whole body, I use human corded clippers, but they are louder and a little more scary. |
