What will I need As you all know we are going to pick up WIllow tomorrow! It will be a 3 hour car ride for her and i am not sure what i should take for her on the ride home? |
Her crate, a blankie and toy, some water and some paper towels incase she has an accident. That's what I can think of off the top of my head.. |
Nutrical! |
Bring an empty bottle for water. Bring some water home from her breeders house just incase she choices not to drink yours for what ever reason. Just a little for the first night and day. kennel to ride in, blanket or two, paper towel just in case she get sick and a bag to put them in. ( Ok I forgot the bag, When I got my girl) leash, collar, harness, Sweeter if you have one if it cold where you are. Most important Love and cuddles. safe trip. Joy |
A camera!!!!! :animal36 |
...and extra batteries!! |
Wee wee pads!! Just in case. Good luck and can't wait to see pics of Willow. :) |
May I suggest sleeping pills?? Not for the car ride, but so you can fall asleep tonight :D A new baby, how exciting :) :) :) |
Yeah i got some tylenol pm just so i can go to sleep tonight cuz i know i wont be able to and when i do i will be up at the butt crack of dawn!!! OK got camera(battery charged memory card empty), toy, nutrical, paper towels, leash colar harness jacket...i think that is everything?! Hmmmm |
You really need a small crate unless someone is going to hold her the whole way home. You wont need a collar and harness to take her home. |

That is so funny to me because my husband told me to grab some tylenol pm at the store. He knows when the time comes I won't be able to sleep the entire week...let alone the night before!! I guess when you wait so long it becomes such an intense excitement...out of control :p I envy your 3 hour drive...we will be driving 12 hours the first weekend in March. We have decided to make it a family adventure! I know my son will always remember it. Hmmmm 12 hours...its kind of like labor(he he he). Goodluck, have a safe trip and ENJOY!!! :D |
Thanks ladies! Ma i am ready to go to bed now just so i can have her here with me!!! Yeah right i know i wont be sleeping much at all even with the tylenol pm! |
With a new puppy IN the house, there won't be much sleeping going on either. When I brought Trace home I ended up being a zombie....puppy crying all night long....who heard him just me  I was exhausted at the end of 4 days with no sleep. Realized then and there....that's the reason God doesn't send 45 year old women human babies. They can't take no SLEEP! |
