Hair bow questions. 2 Attachment(s) :aimeeyork I was wondering at what age can you put bows on? I see all of your babies wearing all these cute bows :aimeeyork. Tinkerbell is 7 weeks old(8 weeks on monday) and i don't know if she is too young for bows, when i grab her hair it seems like she has enough for a small bow. Is she too young? and What kind of bow would you recommend? Thanks in advance ;). |

She is adorable but I would wait till she has a little more hair. I would say at 12 weeks she should be ready, though I never found it easy at that age, though the breeder always was able to manage it. |

I put bows on Jewels when she was very young I dont remember how old. I got some real small bows off of ebay. They came in a package of about 50 of them all different colors. They were the type groomers use called everyday bows. |

The first bows I bought for Laila were from Total Crafts (or Michaels works too, any craft store). They come about 10 for $1 and a solid colors with little pearls in the middle. They are super tiny, and worked great. I sewed dental rubberbands onto the backs of them - and they fit her little head perfectly. She was only about 2lbs, maybe not even, at that time - they fit preportionally well. |

Tinkerbell is pretty small and young, but i can't wait to make her look like a little pretty princess. I have seen some that look like little clips they are so tiny, i don't know if i can do the rubber band ones :(. I live in Korea and at the petshops they have all kinds of bows, i think i will try to find the smallest ones and try . Thanks for your advice, keep it coming. |

After her hail grows here's a great site for you. :) http://www.purepaws.net/Top_Knots_fi...#slide0001.htm I could'nt wait for Princess to wear bows, so I know how you feel. :) |

What a great site. I wonder how long it will take for Lucy to get enough hair to do that. with. I can pull it up into a topknot, but not with a bubble and a fan. And it sticks straight up, and looks a little silly. |

Snowyorkies has some GREAT tiny bows! |

Same here. Sadie looks like one of those troll dolls. My niece likes to spike it, and she looks like a crazy woman. I wonder if her hair will ever get thick like that as well. Great site. Thanks. |

I would love to get a bow for my lil' angel. But as I live in a place where I can't get ANYTHING AT ALL for dogs, does anyone know how I could make them? Rubber band and ribbon? Those little hair clippy things you use on babies? What is safe do ya think? |

I think I may as well live on Mars. They probably have pet stores there. lol |
