What is considered too small for them to play with and not choke? I get so nervous with all the kids toys, but some one said they let their Yorkie play with a plastic water bottle top? What's too small? What should i stop fighting over when he accidentally gets one of the kids toys? |
Its not the size of some things, its the size of the peices they bite off.Jess has taken some of my daughters toys and almost choked with bits of chewed up plastic, she also got into the habbit of biting the eyes and noses off of my little girls teddy bears and she gave us a scare once with that too. What ever it is they chew, you have to really watch them and if they start biting off small peices, its better to take what ever it is away. |
What about those bottletops? |
I think that is too small...and if you feel uncomfortable letting her play with it then I would take it away. I am sure she has plenty of other toys to play with...I just wouldn't take the chance. It's not worth it. |
Bottle caps -- like 2 liter soda bottles are smaller than I would feel safe with letting mine play with, but caps off of gallon milk jugs? Maybe is they are supervised. I tend to err on the side of caution. In other words, I can be very neurotic and paranoid when it comes to safety. |
