So SICK!!! Poor doggies.... The news (NYC-ABC) just did a segment on drugs smugglers using purebred puppies to smuggle their drugs into the country!! The would surgically inplant these bags of heroin (they looked HUGE! :eek: ) into the puppies and then remove them once they got here. I'm going to guess they didn't bother to use anesthesia or even to save the little puppies lives afterwards either!! They said that the Federal Government had intercepted some of these puppies and 3 of them had died. :mad: How SICK!!! |

I can NOT believe how cruel and heartless people can be!! I can NOT believe that there are even people like this in the world!!! Is there anything we can do? What is being done about this? Where do they even get the purebreed puppies? - Do those breeders not check the families that their puppies are going to? This has me sooooo very upset right now!!! I wish there was something I could do....such a sad story!!! |
I just saw the picture...It makes me sooooo sad...Poor doggies, what did they ever do to deserve this? Nothing...On the other hand, these people are doing very illegal, immoral, hurtful things to these animals, and they need to pay for what they're doing. Who knows how many dogs have died in the process... |

I remember seeing something about this a few years back...a sheepdog or something large like that. Anyway, poor dog was stuffed full of cocaine!!!!! They were able to catch it when they walked through the x-ray machine. Well, they seized the man, removed the cocaine and saved the dog! |

Those bloody bast++ds. What I am wondering is if this is yet another way of using mill babies from other countries. They are just being shipped but not to an individual owner. Just guessing here. I saw on Animal Planet years ago a huge sake that had been used for the same thing.. |
I have the TV on, and all the major networks are promoting it for the 11 o'clock news. On the earlier broadcast, I thought I heard them say they had 20something pups. They DEFINITELY said 3 pups were dead. I guess the link I posted earlier was from another story... :mad: :mad: :mad: |
This is one of those stories that I just wish could not be true. It is a sad world for so many when greed wins out over decency. |
omg.......that is one of the craziest things I've heard.......that makes me incredibly sick to my stomach. People like that should be shot. It's bad enough they are on drugs anyway, but to do something like that to a poor puppy......SICK |
My sis in-law run the K-9 Unit out of a certain airport and boy she has some horrible stories. Apparently this is pretty common, rest assured they are doing everything they can to stop this. I sure would like to get ahold of the jerks myself though :mad: . |
