Val has inspired me... So after all her fun pictures and all of the fun stuff she does with them, I want a photoshop type software. How and where can I get it and does it cost a lot? Is it user friendly for those that are a little more software challenged? |
This is Paint Shop Pro - Very similar to Photoshop that Val uses and here is a link you can download the full version for FREE... it also has animation shop if you go to FILE and scroll down - you'll see 'Jasc Software Products'...then it will say 'LAUNCH ANIMATION SHOP' - so this is actually 2 products in one download ps...you'll only see this if you have a layered picture open (like an Avatar)...but it IS there You can at least play around without spending any money - go HERE http://www.com-puterworks.com/Free_Downloads.htm and click on Back by popular demand Paint Shop Pro 7.0 w/Animation |
Thanks Villette, you are the best..I'm so excited, though I really shouldn't be. I don't know how to do 90% what all of you smart artist folks can do.. :D |

Oh well that's totally true..lol |
OMG!!! I was inspired by Val too and Villette. Val posted a tutorial program which is really good and it will teach you how to do cool stuff. Here it is again: http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/. Check it out! |
Thanks Villette for the link. Anyone one who can do anything to a picture inspires me. I'm lucky when I actually get the picture out of the camera. Posting them is another story. Maybe someday I will actually get off dialup and enter the 21st century. |
Ok this is why people like me aren't supposed to have stuff like this. Now i've spent the last 20 minutes, trying to layer, I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM DOING.. :( |
I've thrown this out there before, and no one was interested... But I recently bought the latest version of Photoshop Elements (job pays for them), so I have the two versions before that if anyone wants them, just PM me with your addy. Box, disc, books... I saved everything when I opened them. Personally I can't tell that much of a difference between thedifferent versions. The current version that I have includes video editing but other than that, they all seem the same. Meanwhile all I ever use it for is resizing pictures. I'm SO lame! |

once you get the basics down it's easy but the very first time playing around is FRUSTRATING |
I just want a little playtime with my pictures, is that too much to ask for? This isn't easy at all..lol  |

There you go ! Good for you ... And Nobella - it really does take a little time to learn - What I did find out is one of the easiest things to do is add gifs to a picture - you can make a gif with a transparent background and drag it into your picture - also - editing out backgrounds like Val did with that cool TEN Sully's picture can be found in Tutorials - just type in the key words of your searches and pick tuts you can follow....It took me forever to learn some things - and Val is a PRO - but with all the info on the net - there is directions for everything now. and Pat...You are working so hard and learned alot - I'm so proud of you ! |
