Puppy sense Twinkie goes crazy whenever she sees children. She loves being around kids and goes absolutely nuts. Today we went to the park and she wanted to be close to the kids that were playing. The parents were trying to pet her and give her attention but she just kept going to the kids. Do your puppies like children? Do you think a furbaby can sense a human baby? |
Coco LOVES/ADORES children. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I have had her around my 3 year old nephew and baby cousins since she came to me. I never leave them alone with her but they know to be gentle with her. She loves playing and getting attention from kids. I like that a lot because when I have kids one day, she will be good with them. :D |
Mason loves kids....heck he loves anybody! but hes soo good around my kids and my daycare kids. I watch this 3 month old baby and when she in her carrier on the floor he sneaks up there and sits by her carrier staring at her and tries to get a couple licks on the foot or the hand..hes very gentle. Im the one he chews on. :( :( |
Bailey Loved kids, since I bring him to work, he was around them, He would wake from being sound asleep and run to them, all excited,,, THEN One day I heard this noise, in front of my desk, I walk around and this little boy ( maybe 3) was hitting him with a magazine,, I Freaked, the mom was there just watching, laughing, I picked Bailey up and said " No hitting Puppies" and Held him until they left, I couldn't believe the mom let that happen! SInce, now Bailey is stand off'ish of kids, he still goes and is excited, but Not as quickly as he did before. PEOPLE! |

Miko loves kids too!! There's just something about them that he loves ( he loves everybody though, hehe)...The other day we took him downtown with us and there were kids coming out of a store and he just went nuts, wagging his little tail and pulling to get close to them. It was so cute. I agree with you guys, it sucks when kids are mean to dogs and the parents don't do anything.... One night, my aunt had a gathering at her house, and she put her yorkie in her master bedroom upstairs so that he wouldn't get stepped on, etc. Anyway, one of the kids apparently went upstairs, into my aunt's room and was choking her little yorkie!!! My mom walked into the bedroom and caught him stepping on him and pulling his tail and choking him!! She said the yorkie's little tongue was sticking out of his mouth and he was almost dead!! Can you believe that? |

OMG that is terrible. I would be angry with the parents. It is all about educating their children from a very young age to respect and treat pets gently. |
