comparison photos of 5-9lb yorkies hi i noticed that there are alot of questions about size. for those of you who have a yorkie that is between 5-9+lbs can you pls post a picture up with your baby next to something that it can be compared to? i'm sure that alot of members will appreciate it. it's kinda hard to see how big they are when thier not next to something. thank you all for your cooperation :animal-sm |
My Jess weighs almost 9lbīs and she is actually quite small (short). She is 15" long and 9" high (from shoulder to floor).I can show you a recent picture of her,I dont know how to post on here but here is the link: http://www.*********.com/mbbs2/photo...p?photoid=6155 She is 11 months old now and as I said, she is almost at 9lbīs. |
1 Attachment(s) 9 pounds still looks pretty small to me! Before we had Tia, Sandy was an only furbaby and she seemed really small to me. She's 14 pounds! Now with Tia, who is 3 pounds she seems HUGE!! Here's a bigger picture of my avatar, with the two of them. |
That happens to me too..lol.Jess is almost 9lbs and Lady is full grown and 2lbīs..well Jess does seem big to me at times, especially when they lay together etc.But when people see Jess in the treet, they comment on how little she is too! lol.I know shes little, but when you have an even smaller dog,9lbīs DOES seem huge;) All of a sudden bigger breeds look like horses to me! I guess Im spending to much time with my babies..lol. |
Gina: My daughter spent the night at her dad's house with his two yorkies last weekend. When she got in the Yukon to come home, Carter was there to greet her. She immediately commented on how little Carter is compared to her dad's two dogs. I guess you never really realize how small the smaller yorkies are until you have something to compare them to. Carter is fullgrown and is 3.1#. |
