everyone is excited b/c its a new puppy thats all and yes you guys do preech 12 weeks is best and I agree to some extent but Im an experienced small breed owner so he will be just fine |
I'm excited for you --- I certainly think 5 pounds is a wonderful weight for a little Yorkie --- still very tiny - but enough weight to give it a much better chance at living a long and healthy life. Good for you! Carol Jean |
Congrats!!!!!! |
Good luck - know things will go well. I got my first Yorkie at 6 weeks of age and she only weighed 1 pound - no problems. Got my second one in November from another breeder at 6 weeks - she weighed 1-1/2 pounds, but at 8 weeks she started having seizures. I wish now I would have waited and gotten one at least 12 weeks old - I would not give my Izzy B. up for anything, even with all the medical bills we have had, but if we had gotten an older puppy maybe we would have gotten a healthy one!!! So, I can look at "adoption" ages from both sides of the fence!!! Emmie and Izzy B's mom. |
Congrats!! I am so happy for you, don't forget to post pics!!! |
That's awesome! Five pounds is a good weight. |
I am having such a hard time with this and I seriously can't understand all the high five attitudes. I am sorry but I am unable to encourage like all the rest seem to. I guess there has to be one negative Nelly in each crowd. I am an animal lover as well as a stay at home Mom and there is no way that I could afford to feed and properly care for 9 well now 10 dogs if you count this new one. When is enough going to be enough or will it ever? I am sorry but I am not going to woo hoo you bringing another poor baby into your home. I think it is absolutely insane. On top of that who in their right mind would go to a breeders house have this person basically insult you and then not leave because you wanted to play with her puppies? I feel like I am in the twilight zone... |
Then You Should stay in YOUR ZONE and out of MINE!!!!!!Who are you to critic me you dont know me and "The Poor Baby" You have nerve dont like what you read then dont respond to my threads and further more I wont let you get me or my families excitment down so you havent succeed in your task |

I know I can’t imagine providing the care 10 pups and 3 kids require. I am not condemning anyone, just stating my opinion. |
If You must know all but 2 of my dogs are fixed and are finacially able to maintain all of there shots and Microchipping as well as feeding them. and everyone is entitled to there opinion and all but I dont really care what you think IMO |

to my opinion whether you like it or not. As far as criticizing you I am not...I am looking at the big picture that dogs seem to go out your door just as fast as they come in. And believe me I really tried to just keep my mouth shut about this but it's YOU that keeps bumping your own posts up like you haven't gotten enough attention yet. When airing your business on a public forum expect comments both good and bad! |

Hmm, lets see how I can say this without sounding like a total b*t**! I don't think she ever started this thread to hear anything rude or judgemental from anyone. How do either of you know that she can't afford to care for her dogs?? Do you know how much money she makes??? Exactly, you really have NO idea. If she wants to have this many animals, it is her right, I know her, and I KNOW that she cares for each of her animals just as much as any of you do. It is really sad to me that in every thread someone has to say something hurtful... :( I thought we were here to support eachother. But the more I read lately, the more I see hateful posts. If you don\'t know Jessilyn, then you can\'t say that she can\'t care for her dogs. As long as they are happy and healthy, then where is the problem???? |

. But she stays home all the time, and cares for them very well. I talk to her everyday! And all she ever talks about is her girls, and her furbabies! I just think that the way you are saying things is hurtful... and by the way, this new one, makes 7... |
