Some also try to get rid of the pups before the second set of shots so that it will be less money out of their pocket. Since she tried to push them out the door so quick I wouldn't trust that she knows very much about yorkies. Smaller breeds are usually held on longer. Judging from that, her puppies probably wouldn't be very good quality or fit the breed standard. IMO a bad quality male puppy isn't worth $900 without a health guarantee. But it depends on if you want pet quality or not. Good luck with your choice, but I think you already know what you're going to do. |
I agree, I think anyone who tries to get them out and get her money as soon as she can, is not a good breeder at all. It is her job to make sure that the dog is healthy and ready to go to a new home. Especially when you are paying $900.00. I think she is just out to make a quick buck, and really doesn't care about the well being of the pups. Be careful, and keep us informed. |
I got Jewels at 8 weeks and she had only had one set of shots. Alot of vets have you repeat the shots the breeder has given anyway. |
