Shoes? OK I do not yet have my baby girl but I am doing a lot of research on anything and everything til I get her. One thing I am wondering about is the dog 'shoes.' Does anyone know if they are actually comfortable/helpful to the dog? I live in the Phoenix AZ area and in the summer the ground is HOT! I worry about how that will feel on her little feet. What do ya'll think? Thanks! :) I have been living through you people the last couple weeks. |
Well I like to put shoes on my dogs in the winter when it was icy outside and sometimes when it rains to because they hate getting thier feet wet. If I was walking them on hot concrete I would probobly have them wear shoes then too. I dont usually walk them on concrete though. I think well made shoes are comfortable on dogs although it takes them wearing them a few times to get used to them. Chloe does pretty good in shoes and she doesnt mind them at all. |
Hi and welcome to YT! Shoes can be great for your baby in the cold weather and on the hot concrete! It takes some time but they will get used to it. I own an online boutique and sell many styles, even sandals! Hi, and welcome to YT! I tried the shoe thing once. Didn't work well for me. Or should I say it didn't work well for Raven. She refused to even move in them. She did have fun trying to take them off. Kim |

That is funny I was looking at your website when the idea came to me to ask what the thought was on them! I really like the pink little sandles! I'll probably be spoiling her (ok myself) from your site a lot. :) |
That's so funny! People really seem to love the sandals and the doggie uggs. The uggs were a big hit this holiday season! Like I say, Go ahead, spoil your pet! Also, YT members get a 10% discount by entering the code: yorkietalk at checkout ;) |
Bailey has supersensitive paws. Thank goodness for the sandals and shoes that are available; he was miserable last summer until we discovered them. He had been bit on the bottom of a paw by a wasp while walking on the grass avoiding the hot pavement..... I bookmarked the website too. |
