Update: Tragic end to my Neighbor's ordeal Well I wanted to keep those of you interested updated. My neighbor's last remaining puppy died yesterday. It's amazing how in one week she lost her Yorkie Tinky and her 6 babies. Well she was so destroyed and missed the welcoming bark of her dog so much that she bougth a maltese from the breeder that was taking care of the last remaining pup. The breeder specializes in yorkies but my neighbor said she can't bare to have another Yorkie for a while....too many memories. I don't blame her, the new maltese puppy can help her heal her pain.. Apparently it seems like the blame of all this is on the Vet. The breeder told my neighbor that the puppies were extremely small...the breeder suspects that the vet miscalculated and did the C-section to early. That would explain why all the babies died...they were premature!... Well no time to lament that now. I told her to change Vet and try to sooth her pain with the new baby she just bought. Yaremis |
Oh I am so sad. I was praying that the last remaining precious little baby would pull through. Please give your neighbor a big hug from me. I'm so very sorry. :( |
I have been following your thread and I am so sorry to hear your sad news. Please send my sympathy to your neighbor. What a terrible loss.I hope the new puppy will bring her peace. |
Oh, that is so sad, I'm so sorry. :( |
How sad this whole story is. I'll be praying that the new pup is a healthy, wonderful addition to her family and they he can help to heal her heart. |
I feel so bad for her. I am glad that she has a new puppy to help her get through this extremely hard time. |
I was so hoping that the little one would make it :( but on the up side the little ones are feeling no pain, just happiness, your neigbour is in my thoughts! :lovewings |
So sorry to hear the puppies all died. If you can get a copy of the current issue of The Yorkshire terrier Magazine, you will see a very informative article about puppies, whelping, preparing the mom to breed and so on. ALL puppies are considered premature according to the author because of their characteristics at birth. I have forgotten the details about this c-section and so on, but the owner should have been the one to calculate the date the puppies were due. I am not saying she is to blame and thatmight have sounded that way. I am saying that we need to educate ourselves and even if an OOPS! litter occurs and the date that happened is known, we still can guesstimate the due date. I hope the little Maltese puppy will help heal her heart and when the time is right, she will have her baby spayed/neutered and will have a lifetime companion. Losing our kids is so painful.. |
Oh how awful... Your poor neighbor! She must feel so bad! I hope her new puppy can take away some of her pain. Hugs to both of you! :( |
I am so sorry. That is so sad. But I am glad she was able to get the Maltese to help to ease her pain. |
I am terribly sorry for these losses. We will keep your neighbor in our prayers. |
