My puppy peed on my BED!! ok, so Zoe is completely trained on pads. He loves being on my bed but it is way too high for him to get on or jump off. He does not know how to use steps yet so getting the steps would be useless. This is the third time he peed on my bed. Is this only happening to me? I can't get mad at him cuz he's so darn cute! Gosh I'm such a sucker. I'm just not letting him on my bed for the rest of the night. |
lol, he's a puppy! |
lol sorry I dont mean to laugh, but my baby did the same thing! Well, not *my* pillow but my husbands.. :p She then told us that she coudlnt do it during the night and we had her sleep in her playpen/crate, and she still does. She goes to sleep with us, but we get up now around 3-4 Am to put her in her playpen next to the bed just to avoid it since we don't 100% trust her yet..lol. |

Yep been there too!! My Piper was once upset with me because she couldn't go outside because it was raining and rather than go in her litter box she got up on the couch looked me square in the eye and squated!!  I still swear she did this on purpose to get for not letting her out to run around but I couldn't get mad because she got and came and licked my toes!! Crazy girl!!!! It's worse in the bed I hated having to get up and change the sheets - but this too shall pass!! |
Awww...I know how aggervating that can be! :) Gidget never did it as a puppy but there has been twice since she is older that she has! I wouldn't let her on the bed the rest of the night either! |
ahhh..the joys of puppyhood :) Buster did it the first time we put him on the bed and I was sooo mad but then he just looked at me and I melted.. lol. The only other time he has done it was actually my fault. He normally sleeps thru the night BUT if he wakes p and has to go he come over to my and licks my eyes and paws at my lips. Well, one night he was playing pklaying playing then he came over and licked me and pawed at me and I thought he was just playing...sure enough... he went. Poor thing... he knew what he did was bad bc he came over to me crying and REALLY licking me.. lol Does he sleep with you? They say that they normally dont pee where they sleep. Patience is key !!!! |
[QUOTE=Mommy2 Does he sleep with you? They say that they normally dont pee where they sleep. [/QUOTE] That is a myth, and I have the pee spots to prove it. Although dd insisted the cats were framing him  Thankfully, it only happened twice.... |
My little Raisin did that a couple of times but did get over it. I personally think that was because she was kept in a kennel and probably left far too long with no where else to go. God, I would give anything to have her back peeing on my bed! She will always be my Angel Baby! |
Hi all, I am brand new to this forum as I just got my very first yorkie (Skippy) and I let him sleep with me. I came up with an idea for the peeing on the bed ...hope it helps. Take a large trash bag or any plastic and put this on top of your comforter...put your babies bedding on top of plastic and surrond it with pillows so he can not go anywhere. My baby sleeps with me and if he piddles your bedding is protected. Hope this helps. Enjoy your baby. :) |
HA!! I see I am not alone in this situation. They are the most adorable little dogs! I love my pup to death but I hate it when he pees on my bed! He sleeps with me occasionally. Not every night. All your incidences sound so cute! |

I guess Im lucky then! |
peeing in the bed Yep, been there, when Harley was a baby, he peed the bed, but it pasted when he got older, it was my morning routine, get out of bed put sheets in washer, scrub bed and get ready for work, it got old fast, but at least Harley grew out of it, as for Haley, i ordered those steps there not in yet, i just stack a bunch of pillows by the bed and they jump off go in the kitchen and do there business and jump back in bed.... |
Macey used to sleep with me every night, and never had an accident on my bed. She had several accidents on my parents' bed before she started to sleep with them, too. I don't think it is necessarily a myth that they won't go where they sleep, because I've experienced it first hand. |
to funny not to post :) this one is to funny, when we first got Harley it was around the 4th of July and he was sleeping in bed with us on Mike's back, and then our neighbors started setting off fire works and Harley was so scared he peed right on Mike back..... I thought it was funny, Mike didn't |
