My apology to the person who bought Aspen
 

I am a trusting person and I would like to give my sincerest apology to the person who bought Aspen. This may have been a coincident and if so I apologize. You do not have to respond to this so that you can remain anon. I just wanted to apologize on this forum since I called you out on this forum.

I did talk to Kim B this morning though and she did talk as if he was still available, then this evening she said he was sold.

OK, just kidding. I didn't get Aspen, and it was a bad joke.

I just wanted to say I think it is very classy of you to apologize and move on. Having blown two opportunities on two Yorkies myself recently, I know how losing one can break your heart.

You are not kidding, he is a cutie... She is going to be one lucky yorkie mom.

You have done the honorable thing and I for one am sorry that this got so blown out of proportion. I had a feeling that the member was probably new to the forum and didn't quite know what to do when you started the thread saying you had found a baby boy and it was the same one she was already negotiating to buy. I did not post there for that reason.

I certainly am not privy to all of the facts but I do know this.....

This yorkie world is so small......

I hope whoever she is that she does not feel that she cannot now come on and share her joy with us and her new baby.

Simply as a member of this board I want to thank you again Tricia for your heartfelt apology. You are an inspiration to us all in our efforts to do the right thing. This board needs more members with the type of integrity and hert that you always show.

Tricia...I commend you for this. I know that she'll be happy to read this and hope that she'll continue to come here. Yes, she is a newbie and I'm sure that she did not know fully what her actions would bring out in everyone else.

I want to apologize for 1. Butting in and 2. For commenting w/out hearing both sides.

I too hope this person feels comfortable to post and share with us.

I commend you for being the bigger person in this situation. We can always use for people with heart and bravery in this world like you. It takes a lot to be big like that.

Tricia, My hat goes off to you! You have set a fine example of how to calm the storm. I also hope whoever bought Aspen feels free to post and brag.

Tricia...that was nice of you to do...and maybe it will prevent this from happening again...New or not new ...IF we know someone is thinking of purchasing a puppy ...and we are interested in that same puppy - it's very easy to ask what intentions are and preventing hurt feelings...

I am a relatively new member to YT (a few months) and I have learned so much from this forum. Muffin is my first Yorkie and I didn't know too much about the breed other than I wanted a Yorkie! This forum is also a place that I come to EVERY DAY to 'talk' to other member about our beloved furbabies.

Yesterday I was so sad to read about the mishap with Aspen. It broke my heart, not only because you were so hurt but because the situation stirred up a real 'hornet's nest'. As someone else mentioned, the Yorkie world is a small one and this bond that we all share is so precious to me and I know it is to others. We all need to stick together, lift each other up and help one another.

With that said, I want to personally thank you for your apology. I know it must have been difficult for you to make it but it will go a long way in healing whatever wounds that might have been made. I admire you and I want you to know that there is a reason for everything and you WILL find your perfect little puppy. I KNOW YOU WILL!!

I bought Muffin from a breeder in Fairfax, MO. Her name is Deb Stillers. She has beautiful babies and I couldn't be happier with Muffin. She is perfect in every way and a pure joy to my husband and I. Here is the link to her website. OK, Tricia, I declined to comment yesterday because it was all too confusing to me and I really didn't know exactly what was happening. But now I will comment. Good for you, for apologizing. Maybe it wasn't necessary, but it was very nice of you. And I hope the new member (anon) will come here and post. I think we would all like to know how Aspen is doing. And if it is water under the bridge for you, it should be for all of us here, too.
