Housebreaking Issue - Multiple Dogs I swear these guys are like "old people" we spend so much time talking about their bowel and urinary "issues". LOL :-) No disrespect intended here. I am beginning to seriously think about and plan for another pup since Bubba has brought us so much joy. At any rate, he is housebroken about as well as any Yorkie can be...only an occassional "mishap" and usually tied to him being "peeved" about something....you all know what I mean I'm sure. At any rate, if I get a new pup will I need to provide additional and separate "facilities" for both dogs or will they use the same "facility"....I've just never thought about it. It will be 2 neutered males. Insights from those in the know will be appreciated. |

Ihave 5 Yorkies and soon as i put down a clean weewee pad they mark it one after the other , |
So actually having one trained may help train the other one? |
If your lucky! I have a 3 year old...goes outside only. Then I kept 2 of her pups....darn if they will learn to go on the pad! The male will occasionally and the female refuses. It just so happens that this particular litter (spoke with the owners of the other 2 from same litter) is extremely hard to housetrain. It was the first and last breeding with their sire. Anyway, I bought another little male....he is younger and WAY better at it. I don't know if I just have too many young ones all at once, but it made me wonder how in the heck I ever got my first one trained at all  . I know I am running on and on....I just hope your 2nd one follows suit and does atleast as well as your first one. Thank goodness my last one doesn't do what the other 2 do! |
