Deceased Pet Visit It is not my intention to cause sadness to the yorkie talk members but I am curious as to if anyone ever received a visit from their deceased pet? One of my fur babies crossed over to 🌈😢Rainbow Bridge. He was Everything to me. A real Velcro dog extremely needy which I loved whole heartedly and devoted my entire life to his needs. But this experience haunts me still. |
I am sorry for your loss and hope you find comfort. I have not been visted by a pet after death as far as I know so I wish i could help more there. |
Had a couple of instances where I was unable to sleep and while wandering the house around the witching hours have swore I’ve seen movement in the dark I put up to a ghostly presence…. |
Never seen Callie but I have heard her. I take everyones collars off at night but I would leave Callies on so I could hear if she started moving around and sometimes I hear those tags in the middle of the night. Other family members have heard them too. Sometimes I swear I feel a dog jump on or off my bed but no one has moved so I figure it is either her or one of the dogs I grew up with. |
I have definitely had a few dreams about Max since he left us but no visits yet. Our subconcious has funny ways of dealing with our loss. |
My last girl passed in 2013. I had her from a 8 week old baby till she was 17 years old. Because she was 99% blind and deaf she could no longer sleep on my bed, for the last 1 1/2 years of her life we slept in my office where I have a futon. Her bed was close to me, I always slept with my hand in her bed so she would know I was always there. She would have her nails clipped, I don't think they had the Dremel yet, her nails would catch in the carpeting. When she passed for weeks I heard her nails catching when ever I was in my office. I never saw her but heard her. Not a day goes by that she is not in my thoughts, at least now I can remember the good, the happy times and smile. Once I adopted Cody, I never heard her nails catching. |
Deceased Pet Visit Oh that is such a touching story. And I too know about nails getting caught in the carpet. Over time I replaced them. I “heard” my dog while in the bedroom one morning as clear as a bell -just two days after his passing. I believe my baby was so so needy that he wore the “higher” authority down until he got his way-just one more visit to my human, please!. But on his one month passing (30 days) I was behind a car at a stop sign I looked up and saw the license plate which gave me chills, it read YORK 1. He was my first yorkie. Waiting to see if anything happens on the one year anniversary. |
