Don’t use punishment like the water bottle for the toy guarding it could make it worse. You need to try trading him either a different toy or a really good special treat. Make sure you are also taking time to spend alone time with each of them.

They grab the rats by the neck and shake them to break their necks. Ollie has done this to kill 3 mice and 2 rabbits. They are extremely fast when doing this as to not get bit and to be able to catch them. Ollie is my biggest at 16 pounds yet he is by far the fastest. Although he has a high prey drive for small animals he doesn’t have that with his siblings. I just thought how you said it was kind of over the top but I can be overly sensitive especially about the breed. Sadly humans have done a lot of terrible things in the breeding of many dogs like show winning German Shepard’s almost can’t walk because their legs are so bad and they have made some of the brachycephalic breeds worse. I have found in most cases of yorkies that need to be the only dog that there was something that causes that more then say a breed thing with yorkies like not socialized as puppies, treated bad by other dogs and so on. They definitely are all different with their own personalities. Have a good Christmas and new year :)

For the toys, Sammy's favorite game is to throw a ball (or toy) and he fetches and brings it back. It's his favorite past-time. ZuZu sees this and will join in but after maybe 1 time of bringing it back to throw again, he will refuse to release and wants to keep and guard the ball or toy. Offering him another does no good, he wants whatever toy was in play at the moment. So, that's the only time we make him give it up and I've had to now hold him back and not let him chase after the ball since he won't give it up and then Sammy can't play his game. Any other time, I just let ZuZu have whatever toy he wants. I still want to work with him obeying the "drop it" command because I don't want him to actually bite anyone if they mistakenly try to take something from him.
