New Cars and Turn Signals I have not discussed this with Honda or anyone else.. I have a 2021 Honda CRV with all the bells and whistles. It warns me if another car is in the next lane or if I stray into another lane without putting my turn signal on...... What I'm finding out if when I use my turn signal, my 3 year old yorkie (Maverick) yelps or barks. I'm wondering if the digital signals when signaling lane changes or another car in the net lane is creating a noise level that Maverick does not like..... Does anyone else travel a lot with their yorkie and have a newer car? If so, have you noticed this with your yorkie? Is this something that the car makers have not tested or is it my issue alone? If there is nothing for Honda to adjust with the turn signals, I may have to look for another car. I plan to travel north soon and can't live without using my turn signals on I-95. If this is something with the design of the new cars, this needs to be addressed. Or, I need another new car. Walt (Jersey) Jones |

Last Nov. I bought a 2021 Kia Suv with all the damm bells and whistles. There should be a switch to turn off signal tone when you sway towards another lane. Another switch to turn off signal tone when the steering wheel fights you to keep the vehicle in correct lane. Also it disengages that feature. I turned those two features off. I don't think you can turn off warning signal when a car is in the next lane. I take my fur kid with me a lot, these tones do not faze him at all. He's in his booster seat watching the world go by. I would check with Honda to see if anything can be done with the signal tone. Hopefully other members with these newer cars will chime in with their yorkie experiences. Good luck |

You could search videos on YouTube if there is anyway to alter it. Mine aren’t bothered by all the car noises. |

Mine isn't bothered by the noise however I can turn the noise alerts down in my car. Maybe there's something in the settings that will allow you to adjust the alerts length, sound, sensitivity. |
