Need opinions on what to do about the health of my cat
My cat is a normally healthy cat. However she likes to eat plastic. She's already had one surgery that cost 3500.00 and it looks like she may need another one because she is displaying the same symptoms. She has a vet appointment tommorrow for an xray and possibly surgery. If she has to have surgery, it will be 7000.00 in less than six months.
Some of the things I have done to stop her from eating plastic is move all the trashcans to a closet that she can't get too. I pick up every piece of plastic I see, I sweep every single day and yet she still managed to find a piece of plastic to eat.
I'm at a lost. My question is what do I do if it happens again? I obvisously can't afford to keep paying for surgeries and she obviously can't keep having surgeries as it takes a toll. Does anyone have any suggestions on what more I can do to prevent her from eating plastic and what are my options if it happens again.
She's a perfectly healthy cat otherwise. My main concern is what to d if it happens again as I may not be able to afford another surgery. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
