The More the Merrier...Free Yorkie OKay I'm having a delima.... I went into work tonight and a lady I work with told me about how she knows a lady who has two young children, and a yorkie. Well I guess she feels she can't give her yorkie enough attention anymore, and wants to find him a good home. She had mentioned me to the lady because she always talks to me about Baby, hears me talking about her, and sees her picture hanging from my apron, and she thought I could take this yorkie. The only thing she knows about him is that he is at least a few years old, and that he loves to be held, that's all he wants. So I told her to get me some more information, and even if I couldn't take him, I might be able to find him a loving home on here. I would love another yorkie, but at the same time i know Baby loves being the only child. So I will try and get some more information and tell you guys what I find out....pretty exciting either way, but I hope this little guy finds a loving home...I will keep everyone posted. |
Ohh Mindy, keep us updated. It's a known fact that yorkies love to have companionship with other yorkies or small dogs so maybe, just maybe it would be a good thing. |
Yorkies are like Potato Chips; you can't have just one! Check it out! :animal36 :aimeeyork :aimeeyork |

You know you won't have a problem finding him a GOOD home, even if it's not yours! Good Luck! :) |
Keep us posted about the little guy. If you cant take him I bet you could find someone on YT who will. |
It's very exciting either way. Good Luck on what ever decision you make. Keep us posted. |

I live in Mi, and if you can't take him, I'll ask the husband, it'd be great for Cash to have a playmate! :animal36 |
Well I work tonight and hopefully she will be working, hopefully she has had a chance to talk to this lady. I"m sure it's going to be hard for her to give him up...to anyone..so after I find out more about him, I can also get this lady's contact information and actaully go see him and take some pics. Thanks for everyones encouraging words. I would love another yorkie, but my mom keeps telling me not to do it. She has Lhasa Apsos and started with one. She says after she got the second one, that Sweetie, her first, wasn't interested in her has much. So I don't want to sound selfish, but I love being Baby's attention focus. However, at the same time I'd love for her to have someone to play with while I'm working, or at school. Has anyone else who started with one yorkie, and got another one, experienced anything similiar to this? |
I also felt when I had one dog that it wasn't fair to them to get another, but I really wanted a Yorkie again, i have a 9 year old pom, so I finally did it and I will never have only one dog again. Even though Maya doesn't really like the puppy she is getting better and today when I brought Cali back from spending the night at the ER vet Maya was wagging her tail when she saw Cali. I know it's a hard decsion but you will know when it is teh right time if ever to have 2 dogs. Problem is now I want another Yorkie closer to Cali's age. |
