Warning MAYBE?? I just opened a "private message" in YorkieTalk and it was all crazy gibberish. I'm hoping I didn't unleash a virus of some sort. The e-mail looks exactly like all the others I've rec'd, private or not. |
Just me again. I spoke with my cousin-the-computer-go-to-guy. He told me what I rec'd was "probably nothing" and I should simply delete it, which I did. Fingers-crossed it was just something stupid and not anything else. I did want to mention it though, just in case. |
I hope it was nothing. That's weird. |
Just reading an email won't harm your computer. Just don't ever click on a link or file if you are not familiar with the person...and even if you are you still should be careful as people can change names on emails. |
Good to know. Thanks to all |

I also recevied that same private message: Äịa chỉ chữa bệnh giang mai tốt nhất TP Vinh Nghệ An lÃ* má»™t trong số các câu há»i được đặt ra bởi các bệnh nhân Ä‘ang mắc phải chứng bệnh xã há»™i quan tâm nhất. Bên cạnh đó, Chi phÃ* chữa bệnh giang mai ở TP Vinh Nghệ An lÃ* bao nhiêu cÅ©ng lÃ* vấn đỠnan giải, khó nói được các bệnh nhân có Ä‘iá»u kiện kinh tế khó khăn tìm kiếm nhiá»u nhất. Theo các bác sÄ© phòng khám Ä‘a khoa Lê Lợi - 1 trong những Äịa chỉ chữa bệnh xã há»™i uy tÃ*n ở TP Vinh tỉnh Nghệ An thì chi phÃ* chữa bệnh giang mai còn phụ thuá»™c tình trạng sức khá»e của bệnh nhân cÅ©ng như phương pháp - liệu trình Ä‘iá»u trị. 980602306 I think this person should be deleted from the group. |
I get a lot of weird emails like that I just delete them. If you're curious or perhaps you ordered something on line and "think" it may pertain to your purchase, you can open to read it, just do not click on anything if it has nothing to do with your purchase. With this pandemic and the holidays, there are a lot of scams going out. I just received a email from Chase charge card to be aware of emails titled from Amazon, another titled Apple. These are scams. |

Perhaps the member that sent you a link didn't realize all this nonsense was attached. |
This was a private email from a member of this group |
Maybe |
If you got a private message like that it is best to report it to admins. I got one and reported it. |
As I said, what I opened looked exactly like all the other e-mails I get from Yorkie Forum. There was no way I could know not to open it. I am very careful about not opening e-mails from unknown sources. I think this missive is intentional, not a mistake. How do we report this to Administration? My cousin said I should not send back, but to delete. |
