Dixie update
4 Attachment(s) So at first the boys were not thrilled with their little sister but they are liking her more and more. Penny gets involved if she thinks the boys are getting to rough
( they aren’t I watch closely). She will get in between them. Ollie likes that they can play chase. Joey will let her roll all over him and just look at me like ugh mom. Penny thinks she is a little mom by trying to tell her what is ok and what isn’t. She likes me to pick her up and she cry’s for me to pick her up to sleep on me and honestly I give in most of the time but I’m trying to get her used to taking some naps in the bed right next to me. She cry’s a little when first going to bed but sleeps well. I bought the stuffed dog with the heart beat which I think helps. She has put on at least 6 oz in almost a week, she is so wiggly it’s hard to get her weight. I think she will be close to Joey’s adult size which is 14 pounds or around 12 pounds. Joey was almost 4 pounds at 9 weeks and she is pretty close. She has huge paws lol. I was mixing her dry food with wet food twice a day as well as leaving some dry out but she is now preferring the dry without the wet. Joey feels he has to stand guard over her in the yard. She loves the fenced in back yard. |
